News good plan Graphics card sales: the RTX 3060 at a crazy price for the 2nd markdown
The sales continue to be in full swing, and since this morning, the start of the 2nd markdown has taken place. Clearly, the promotions are now much more attractive, and we will be able to take advantage of crazy offers on many products. Today, it is a graphics card that has caught our attention, since it is displayed at an unbeatable price, especially after the last few months of shortages have caused prices to soar to levels never seen before.
Sales: the RTX 3060 goes to €379 thanks to the 2nd markdown
This is probably the offer of the week! Rue Du Commerce has just bent the game by putting a simply mind-blowing offer online. If you are looking for a GPU to be able to play quietly in 1080p, without having to restrict yourself on the graphics options, this model will seduce you.
This is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 in its Eagle version signed by Gigabyte. Initially offered at €419, this graphics card has just seen its price drop to €379, which certainly makes it one of the cheapest RTX 3060s on the market right now.
RTX 30960: the ideal card for gaming at 1080p with 12GB of VRAM
We remind you that the RTX 3060 is the ideal model for playing in FHD. With its GA106 chip, this GPU offers us 13.3 billion transistors, with 3584 CUDA cores, 28 RT cores (dedicated to Ray Tracing) and 112 Tensor Cores (to run DLSS, Nvidia’s famous upscaling system).
The frequencies are not left out with 1320Mhz base and 1777Mhz in boost. In terms of memory, the 3060 uses a 192-bit bus, with 12 GB of GDDR6 (more than a 3080) for a bandwidth of 360 GB/s.
This Eagle model from Gigabyte also offers slightly boosted frequencies with a peak that goes from 1777Mhz to 1807Mhz. A slight overclock that we can push ourselves via suitable software (like Afterburner) and thus take advantage of the Eagle’s generous heat sink.
The latter uses a heatsink with classic heat pipes, paired with two axial fans, which will allow you to play in silence, or to take advantage of increased power if you decide to increase the voltages.
We also note that Gigabyte has kept the reference design (the 3060 does not exist in Founders Edition) with a short PCB, which allows for an air flow that crosses the heat sink. We can also see that the backplate has been partially cut out so as not to hinder the airflow.
This model is content with a single 8-pin connector, and Gigabyte announces a power consumption of 170 watts. Clearly, you don’t need to have a huge power supply to be able to take advantage of this pretty 3060 which is content with two slots in your case.
Fans of multicolored lights will also be delighted to know that the Eagle is equipped with an RGB LED strip on the edge. Connectivity level, Gigabyte has respected the reference model with two HDMI outputs and two DisplayPort outputs.
