news tip Genshin Impact, the first images of Sumeru, the new area of the game, have just leaked!
Between the leaks and Genshin Impact, it’s always been a great love story. Upcoming game content is almost always found on the web weeks before its official release. And so it is again…
Decidedly, the leaks are linked on Genshin Impact! Barely a few hours after the leaks of new characters on the internet, now screenshots taken in game appear on the web. And these show us more details about the next big area of the game, Sumeru…
Sumeru, the new area of Genshin Impact!
The first leaked images of Sumeru
Today on Reddit, a user leaked screenshots of what the game’s new area, Sumeru! Scheduled for 3.0, this area will therefore be the next big piece of Genshin Impact since Inazuma. We can also notice on the screenshot the presence of Tighnari, which we were telling you about here earlier.
This screenshot shows us that Sumeru will obviously be a far from flat area, and we can also see something floating at the bottom, which would obviously be an elemental academy. More screenshots will no doubt arrive eventually, but the area looks interesting at first glance!
Map of Sumeru
Another equally important leak, a screenshot of the world map of Sumeru also ended up on the web. We can already notice two things, apart from the fact that the area looks large and furnished.
On the one hand, there is a hole in the middle. A future zone that will arrive after the release of Sumeru? It’s possible. And second point, the Sumeru desert is obviously not on the map, and it is apparently supposed to be in the south. So another piece of zone that will come later?
At the level of the zones, this is what the name of the latter corresponds to on the map. They were translated from Chinese to English, then from English to French. So expect likely changes to these:
To the north, the world preservation forest
To the northwest, the second cleaning site
To the west, the plain of kindness
To the south, the Adana River Valley
That’s all we know about Sumeru so far!
