Free agency 2022 | The full report of a completely crazy first night

Even though Kevin Durant was the big star of the night with his transfer request, the franchises hosted a completely crazy first evening of “free agency”. Much crazier than last season with record contract extensions, but also unexpected transfers. In total, there are nearly 50 signatures in some six hours, for an amount of several billion dollars!

Here is the report, team by team. The extensions are in bold. We did not include the “team option”, nor the “player option”.

THE FIVE BIGGEST CONTRACTS

Nikola Jokic : 264 million dollars / 5 years

Bradley Beal : 251 million / 5 years

Karl Anthony Towns : 224 million / 4 years

Devin Booker : 224 million / 4 years

Ja Morant : between 193 and 231 million / 4 years
