Five new frescoes are unveiled in Mons

This summer, those who will not have the chance to go on vacation or who have simply chosen to stay at home, will be able to participate in a multitude of activities that the City of Mons will offer during the two months of vacation. The slogan is simple and clear: “We’ll show you. Stay here this summer”.

Events, exhibitions, festivals, gardens, shows… The program was unveiled by the mayor of Mons Nicolas Martin, the alderwoman for Culture Catherine Houdart and the director of Mons Performing Arts Philippe Degeneffe.

For this fourth edition of “Destination Mons”, a very wide choice of activities will enliven the city to the rhythm of friendly, family and above all free meetings.

Ephemeral gardens

The ephemeral gardens will reopen their doors from July 29 to August 21 on the Grand’Place. You can admire horticultural works, flowerbeds or charming wooded paths.
