If its success was predictable, the launch of the battle royale Fall Guys in free-to-play version obviously attracted a lot (too) many people yesterday on the servers, which did not happen without causing some disappointment for the players. ..
Servers cracking under pressure!
It was the event not to be missed! Yesterday, June 21, the multiplayer title Fall Guys was offered to players in a free version on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. Many people had therefore made an appointment at the same time on this free-to-play version, causing inevitable problems on the level of the game’s servers.. Shortly after public matchmaking was unavailable, custom lobbies were also temporarily disabled, causing anger among players…
Faced with numerous reactions from players disappointed at not having been able to discover the game under the expected conditions, the Mediatonic team quickly spoke on social networks.

We are aware that some players cannot matchmake at this time! To celebrate the launch of our Free for All, I baked us a cake, but dropped it on the servers and am now cleaning the icing off the computer bits. I’m going to make us a new cake, thank you for your patience!!!!

Ok, so, I have some icing, I have some ants. That is 54% of the icing and 44% of the ants. Servers are starting to perform better but there may be some start up issues while billions of you are trying to play at the same time. Please be patient with us as we continue to fix!
Don’t panic though, everything is getting back to normal. The Mediatonic team is actively working on correcting the problems identified to allow as many players as possible to discover Fall Guys in a multi-media and free-to-play version.
